Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) & Alternate Saturdays
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Performance Bonus

We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Vehicle Technician to join our team of 6 technicians.
The Role
As a Level 2 Technician, you will play a vital role in our brand-new workshop. You will work alongside a supportive team, reporting directly to our experienced Workshop Manager. Your main focus will be carrying out high-quality vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, and mid-level mechanical repairs on a wide variety of makes and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing & Repairs: Perform routine servicing, vehicle health checks, brake replacements, suspension work, and timing belt changes.
- Diagnostics: Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify, fault-find, and rectify standard mechanical and electrical issues.
- Efficiency: Complete all repair jobs within industry standard times while keeping a clean and organised bay.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with the Workshop Manager, fellow technicians, and our front-of-house Service Advisor to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Quality Control: Guarantee all work is completed to the highest standard to maintain our commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Experience: At least 2 Years proven experience working in a professional garage or workshop environment.
- Skillset: Strong competency in general mechanical repairs and basic diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Tools: Must possess your own basic set of tools (specialist equipment provided on-site).
- Licence: A full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential. An MOT Tester Licence is a bonus but not required.
